National Doctor’s Day is observed on 1st July every year to honour the invaluable contributions
of doctors and healthcare professionals to society. This day commemorates the birth and death
anniversary of the renowned physician Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a Bharat Ratna awardee and
pioneer in the medical field in India. a
In recognition of the dedication and tireless service of our medical fraternity, AIIMS Rajkot shall
commemorate the occasion by inviting all Faculty, Residents, Medical Officers and Interns to
participate in the celebration of National Doctors’ Day.
