AIIMS Bibinagar takes a major leap in hearing care!Under the leadership of Executive Director Dr.
Ahanthem Singh, the ENT Department successfully performed its first cochlear implant surgery, helping
a woman regain hearing after 15 years of deafness. The surgical team comprised experts from AIIMS
Bibinagar and a visiting professor from AIIMS Bhopal.To commemorate the achievement, a CME on
Cochlear Implantation was organized, promoting academic collaboration and training. With continued
newborn hearing screening and adult diagnostic services, AIIMS Bibinagar is advancing accessible ENT
care across rural Telangana.
