Subject: Awareness Seminar on Deduction of TDS and Related Compliance Provisions –

The undersigned hereby informs that a Seminar on Deduction of TDS will be conducted
at AIIMS Rajkot to sensitize staff members and salaried employees about statutory provisions
under the Income Tax Act concerning TDS compliance and consequences of non-adherence.
The seminar will cover the following key areas:
1. Role of Deductor in terms of deduction of TDS
2. Demand analysis and reduction of demand (procedural aspect)
3. Consequences of non-filing/late filing of TDS returns
4. Overview of Key Statutory provisions pertinent to Deductors under the Income Tax Act.
5. Consequences of fraudulent claims in return of income and remedies available with
taxpayers.
