🔍 Overview
Sub: Closing of open gaps & covering of vents with louvers / anti-mosquito mesh reg.
Ref. OM No. 40-30/2024-Estt.l dt. 10.12.2024, it had been directed that all nondesignated open gaps in the walls shall be closed appropriately and all exhaust / AC
vents shall be fitted with moving louvers or with anti-mosquito mesh as per the design
feasibility.
However, during the morning rounds of the undersigned, it has been noted
that still in few clinical & office areas, there are open gaps in the walls (adjacent to a
window or post repair work, etc). Also, the exhaust vents are not always covered with
a louver, thereby allowing mosquitoes & pests to enter the buildings when the
exhausts are switched off.
