Hon’ble Governor of Telangana presided over the inaugural ceremony of a week-long
cultural immersion

Hyderabad, May 26: The 10th International Convention of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of
Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) was formally inaugurated on the evening of May 26,
2025, at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad by the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Jishnu
Dev Varma.

His presence lent dignity and solemnity to the occasion, marking the official commencement of
a week-long exploration into India’s classical and spiritual traditions.
